Mental Health Workers (Inpatient and Outpatient Services) Four Winds Hospital is a leading provider of specialized inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents and adults. The Mental Health Workers are members of an interdisciplinary team who carry out the assigned tasks and duties required to provide holistic care to the patients, organize and coordinate patient activities, and contribute to the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu. The pay range is $17.86/hr – $26.00/hr with additional compensation for education and shift differentials. Mental Health Workers receive thorough training in department‑specific duties, policies and procedures; cross‑training for adult, adolescent, and child populations to enable adaptability across daily assignments; and a two‑day crisis intervention training to prepare for acute situations. Applicants must be capable of running, twisting, arching and lifting. Applicants must be a high school graduate. Further education in psychology or other health‑related fields is preferred. One year of related experience is preferred but on‑the‑job training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and oral, and possess the ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries.
