Supply Chain Analyst

Title: Supply Chain Analyst Location: Milwaukee, WI Job description details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must work with a minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support, while responding efficiently to multiple program priorities
- Experience in floating RFQ and RFI to suppliers, RFQ analysis and Price finalization based on market price
- Must have experience in esouricng tool and award scenario creation
- Strong in evaluating supplier costs, solicits competitive bids and quotations
- Knowledge about market operating price for various manufacturing commodity
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Good understanding of cost drivers & process drivers of a given commodity parts/sub assemblies
- Negotiate cost down, Trade working capital improvements with suppliers
- Min. 5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role and Strategy development
- Capability to interface with senior leadership across regions both internally & externally
- In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices
- Strong costing and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions
- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
- Good experience working in the procurement department in a related field
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering and Plant buyers to enable supplier provided savings opportunities
- Report out various saving opportunities provided by suppliers to senior management
- Strong MS Office skills and PDM/PLM tools
- Program governance and Dashboarding for Senior leadership
- Willingness to travel to customer/supplier sites on need basis.
