This position oversees boilers, air compressors, chillers, steam systems, and other utility equipment that support manufacturing operations. The role ensures continuous utility services, coordinates maintenance activities, monitors power plant performance, troubleshoots equipment issues, oversees external contractors, and maintains compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Requirements Key Responsibilities Manage the daily power plant and utility systems. Prioritize daily work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities. Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, chillers, air compressors, and supporting equipment. Maintain accurate operating logs and utility records. Perform routine inspections of water levels, pressure controls, combustion systems, and safety devices. Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Maintenance Management Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Schedule and track daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems. Maintain maintenance records, PM schedules, and equipment documentation. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Electrical: Oversee troubleshooting of motors, controls, and power plant systems. Plumbing: Maintain water, steam, and drainage systems. General Maintenance: Support HVAC, lighting, and building systems. Ensure proper diagnosis and repair of equipment failures. Safety and Compliance Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and facility safety requirements. Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards and corrective actions. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols. Operations Support Coordinate maintenance activities with contractors and tenants. Minimize downtime through effective planning and scheduling. Track utility performance and maintenance metrics. Respond to emergency utility and equipment failures as needed. Preferred Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or trade training preferred. 5+ years of industrial maintenance or utility systems experience. Boiler certification (or ability to obtain). Power Plant setting with heat, noise, and moving equipment. Requires lifting, standing, climbing, and hands-on work. Must be available for off-hours and emergency response. #J-18808-Ljbffr
