This role offers the flexibility to support emergency department call coverage with no clinic responsibilities in a busy hospital setting. Opportunity Highlights Obstetrics and Gynecology locum tenens assignment Coverage dates include July 8, 23, 24; August 5; September 2, 3, 30; October 1, 29; November 23, 24, 25 Emergency Department call coverage needed as soon as credentialed General hospital setting with approximately 25,000 ED visits annually Delivery volume around 30 per month Supportive team including fellowship-trained ED physicians and hospitalists In-house anesthesia coverage Schedule Details Flexible dates based on provider availability 24-hour ED call shifts, no clinic responsibilities Coverage to support obstetric and emergency gynecologic cases Clinical Scope Emergency evaluation and management of obstetric and gynecologic emergencies Management of labor and delivery, including C-sections in designated ORs Patient stabilization and stabilization of acute OB and GYN conditions Coordination with hospital staff, including hospitalists and anesthesia Documentation within hospital EMR Practice Environment This opportunity is based within an acute care hospital in Ada, Oklahoma, featuring three labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) rooms, and two C-section suites. The hospital operates 4 ORs daily with full anesthesia support and fellowship-trained emergency physicians, offering a comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care environment.
