OB Hospitalist - San Jose (Level III NICU)

Obstetrix of California at San Jose: OB Hospitalist Opportunity We are seeking an additional experienced BC/BE OB Hospitalistto join a Maternal-Fetal Medicine led Ob Hospitalist practice at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. Five to Six 24-hr shifts per 4 week cycle OB Hospitalist will do on average 0-3 and assist on average 1-2 c-sections Responsibilities will also include Ob triage of unassigned and private patients on request, receive MFM transports (5-6 per month), round on inpatients (postpartum) and shared rounding on antepartum patients with MFM, GYN ER evaluation of unassigned Gyn surgery is managed by a separate on call GYN physician Good Samaritan has a Level III NICU, 24-hr dedicated Anesthesiologist to L&D, 24-hr Neonatologist and 24-hr Pediatric Hospitalist Base pay is $296,400 (for .71 FTE) plus bonus incentive program Base pay is $328,320 (for .780 FTE) plus bonus incentive program Extra hours are paid at $190 per hour Sign-On Bonus Relocation Assistance CME Allowance With all the amenities of a large city and the charm of a small town, San Jose is located at the Southern tip of San Francisco Bay and is the heart of Silicon Valley, home to many of the world’s largest high-tech companies. BC/BE OB-GYN Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Paid Sick Leave : Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 40 hours or five days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year. NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
