Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving a small, close-knit PreK-8 student population in an engaging school district setting. This role centers on providing expert psychological services—including comprehensive assessments, case management, and direct counseling—with the possibility of coordinating Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) initiatives. The environment fosters meaningful relationships, as you support approximately 45-50 students on your caseload from a district of 900.

Operating full school days (8:15 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.), you’ll contribute directly to students’ academic and social success—conducting approximately 25 evaluations throughout the year, ensuring individualized support, and participating in multidisciplinary teams dedicated to each child’s growth.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license as required for educational settings
• Prior experience working with PreK-8 students in a school setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated skill in assessments, case management, and counseling
• Familiarity with special education processes and psychoeducational evaluations
• Understanding of HIB coordination or willingness to develop expertise
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including interdisciplinary teamwork

Core responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychoeducational assessments and producing clear, actionable reports
• Providing individual and group counseling to support social-emotional development
• Managing cases, including developing and monitoring student intervention plans
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to promote student well-being
• Maintaining thorough documentation and supporting compliance with educational standards
• Assisting with HIB investigations and reporting as needed
