Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float

Critical Care ICU Float Pool RN Shift
Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend Day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including:
- Neuro ICU
- Surgical ICUs
- Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
- Cardiology/Diagnostics
- CVICU
- SICU / MICU / NCCU
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Required
- Proficiency with EPIC Required
- Must have:
- IV Start
- Telemetry
- Ventilator management experience
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- WMC Agency Permit (Most Convenient Option) -24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage (guaranteed availability) -$224.80/month -$748.58 per 100-day permit
- WB Permit (Budget Option) -Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages -24/7 access to West Campus surface lots (WB/WC spaces) -Shuttle service provided to the medical center -$16.35/month
- CXS Permit -Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages -24/7 access to Buckeye (CX) and West Campus surface lots -$32.83/month
Float Policy: Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
