Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in an acute care setting with remote telemetry, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit with 32 beds and remote telemetry monitoring (telemetry ordered as needed and monitored 24/7)
• Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients served by internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow physicians
• IV drip management includes Dopamine (5mcg constant rate, no titration, renal perfusion only) and Heparin
• Charting system: Cerner
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• BSN not required
• Cerner EMR experience beneficial given unit usage
