Senior Fullstack Software Engineer DX

Salary: $149,400 - 235,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with 7+ years of industry experience building backend applications, with a strong lean toward full-stack work.
• We require a bachelors or masters degree, ideally in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• You should be proficient in at least one modern object-oriented language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or Python.
• You should have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and related frameworks and libraries such as React and Node.
• You need experience designing and delivering highly scalable, high-performance RESTful microservices.
• You should be fluent in at least one database technology, such as PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
• You should have familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and hands-on experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS.
• You should bring strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• We build and ship features and capabilities every day in a highly scalable, cross-geo distributed environment.
• We focus on backend-heavy full-stack development, creating robust REST APIs while also contributing to customer-facing React components.
• We review code with attention to readability, testing, documentation, reliability, security, and performance.
• We partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to identify user pain points and refine effective solutions.
• We ensure strong visibility through error reporting and monitoring for high-performing backend services.
• We participate in Agile practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• We write efficient raw SQL to support complex queries, reporting, and data workflows.
• We work closely with product and design to shape ambiguous problem statements, refine requirements, and propose pragmatic technical approaches.
• We own projects from architecture through implementation, self-QA, rollout, monitoring, and iteration based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
• We maintain a high quality bar by writing clear code, comprehensive tests, and robust monitoring and alerting where needed.
• We contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and standards, especially around data accuracy, reporting, and reliability.
