Part Time - Music Voice - Vocal Instructor

Job Description and Position Requirements The Division of Arts and Humanities at Penn State Abington is seeking a part‑time instructor to teach individual vocal lessons beginning August 2026 . This is a one‑semester, non‑tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates with a student‑centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching are encouraged to apply. Job Duties Teach up to two sections of VOICE 100, Voice Secondary per semester. VOICE 100: individual instruction in voice. Sessions are one‑half hour per week. Work with students to develop individual, weekly lesson schedules agreeable to both the student and the instructor. Prepare students for campus recital each semester. Depending on expertise, additional opportunities for teaching instrumental lessons may be available. Requirements and Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience or training will be considered. Experience teaching at the college level is highly desirable.
