Procurement Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Manager in Annapolis, MD.Summary:The Procurement Manager will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, inventory, and procurement processes across a growing organization. This role will work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure products and supplies are available when needed while identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.Key Responsibilities:* Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities* Maintain and develop vendor relationships* Review pricing, purchasing activity, and vendor performance* Monitor inventory levels and purchasing needs* Manage purchase orders and vendor agreements* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements* Partner with internal teams to improve purchasing processes and controlsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field preferred* Procurement certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or C.P.M. is a plus* 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience* Strong vendor management and negotiation skills* Experience with inventory and purchase order management* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel* Healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or related industry experience preferredJob TypeDirect HireCompensation90000 - $115000
