Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Bay City, MI. Start date 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 36 per week with potential for 48 hours guaranteed and overtime after 48 hours as noted. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting is a hospital-type setting suitable for experienced ICU nursing. This is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to implement the plan of care and provide bedside ICU nursing care; execute medical orders and monitor patient responses
- Delegate and oversee tasks to Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support roles; participate in discharge/transfer planning and teaching
- Assume leadership responsibilities: integrate evidence-based knowledge, coordinate nursing tasks, precept new staff, and mentor coworkers
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan, adjust as needed, and communicate progress in timely, clear fashion
- Participate in patient conferences and ensure appropriate placement and assignment of patients within the unit

Requirements
- Active RN license in Michigan
- 2+ years ICU experience (required)
- Comfortable floating to ED and Step-Down units (required)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required)
- Nice-to-have: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN (documentation available)
- Travel experience (preferred)
- Neuro surgical and Open Heart experience (preferred)
- Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting on a 3x12 night schedule

Education
- Current RN licensure in Michigan; nursing education appropriate for ICU practice
