This full-time, day-shift role involves examining and treating patients referred for physical therapy, contributing to enhanced patient outcomes and supporting the mission and values of the department.

Education

Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license as required by the regional board of examiners.

Experience and Requirements

• CPR certification will be provided during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately within a team-oriented environment.
• FIM credentialing must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, requiring a minimum proficiency score of 80%, with up to three attempts allowed.
• Training in evacuation procedures, restraint, seclusion, and safety devices is mandatory for all clinical staff serving inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Effective communication skills, including oral, written, auditory, and visual assessment capabilities, are required.
• Physical demands include the ability to use proper body mechanics, transfer and transport patients of varying weights, and frequently stand, bend, stoop, lift, turn, twist, sit, and walk.
• Competency in the use and manipulation of therapy equipment is necessary.
