Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: 3x12's - 7am to 7:30pm on weekends only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).
We're seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care at our facility. The nurse will primarily work on medical-surgical and telemetry units but may have the potential to float to other units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
- Monitor and analyze patient conditions through telemetry assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience as an RN in Med/Surg and Telemetry (travel experience accepted).
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores.
