FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Food Service Worker – Full time and part time (immediate hire) Location: Children's Mercy Adele Hall, 2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO 64108 Schedule: Monday through Friday, varying hours, weekends as needed. Details to be discussed in interview. Pay: $16.50–$18.50 per hour Requirement: Prior food service experience preferred. Paid training provided. Job Summary Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed while upholding quality and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined service steps. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
