Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotator to support the development of high-quality artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models by accurately labeling, classifying, and validating datasets. The ideal candidate will work with text, images, audio, video, or sensor data, ensuring annotations meet quality standards and project guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow annotation instructions while collaborating with AI engineers, data scientists, and quality assurance teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and label text, image, audio, video, and other data types according to project guidelines.
• Perform data classification, categorization, tagging, transcription, segmentation, and bounding box annotation as required.
• Review annotated datasets for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Validate and correct annotations completed by other team members.
• Follow annotation standards, quality assurance procedures, and project-specific guidelines.
• Identify ambiguous data cases and escalate issues for clarification.
• Maintain annotation productivity and quality targets.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, project managers, and quality analysts.
• Document annotation decisions and maintain accurate records.
• Support dataset preparation, cleansing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive or proprietary data.
• Participate in training sessions and continuously improve annotation accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline (preferred); equivalent experience may also be considered.
• 0-3 years of experience in data annotation, data labeling, content moderation, quality assurance, or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with spreadsheets and productivity tools.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML data annotation projects.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms and labeling tools.
• Experience annotating text, images, audio, or video datasets.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and data quality principles.
• Experience working with multilingual datasets is an advantage.
