The RN Lactation Consultant will serve as the designated lactation resource for families of critically ill infants, supporting complex feeding and lactation needs across the Neonatal Critical Care Center, Pediatric Cardiac ICU, and other Children's Hospital units. This role also provides postpartum lactation support in the Newborn Nursery and supports hospital-wide breastfeeding initiatives to ensure continuity of lactation care.

Lactation Services is seeking a Clinical Nurse II- Certified Lactation Consultant to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have completed their pathway two program for the IBCLC Certification. We are looking for someone that can test and pass their IBCLC Certification exam within 1 year of their start date.

Who are we looking for?

- RN with at least one year of work experience

- Experience with inpatient lactation support; working with diverse patient populations and complex feeding cases

- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

What is the work schedule?

-40 hours per week

-(5) 8-hour shifts OR (4) 10-hour shifts

- No rotating shifts

- Weekday and weekends
