Surgical Assistant/RNFA/PA

Position Overview

This position is for a Surgical Assistant, Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), or Physician Assistant (PA) seeking a fulfilling role. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with potential after-hours call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a high standard of care.
Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in required on-call activities, including a minimum of one weekday and two weekend days per month.

Qualifications

Current and valid licensure as a Surgical Assistant, RNFA, or PA.
Strong background in surgical procedures and assistance.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Health Certifications

MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Varicella (Chickenpox)
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
Influenza Vaccine
Fit Test for respiratory protection
Hepatitis B vaccination
Annual TB Questionnaire, with a negative chest X-ray if needed
2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
