What You’ll Do: Provide daily care, support, and guidance to youth in our licensed residential program. Help youth develop essential life skills: personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, making beds, and more. Supervise and engage youth in recreational, educational, and social activities, including games, projects, and structured programs. Prepare and supervise nutritious meals and snacks while teaching cooking and nutrition skills. Ensure youth take medications on time, according to prescribed schedules. Keep all common areas and youth spaces clean, organized, and inspection-ready. Be a role model: foster a loving, positive, and supportive environment for youth every day. Communicate with caseworkers, report incidents, and contribute to youth’s overall growth and success. Individuals with a MINIMUM High School Diploma or GED and at experience in residential youth care (experience with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral/emotional challenges, school paraprofessional. Experience in DJJ, DOC Corections Officer, or Department Family Children Services Background is a PLUS Positive, clear-headed decision-makers who embrace growth, feedback, and leadership. Cleared background checks (CPSIS, GBI, FBI, DJJ) TB test (within the last 12 months). Recent Physical, Drug test & Six professional references. Commitment to annual 40 hours of in-service training, including behavior management and medication training. Must be able to provide two weeks’ notice and have a working cell phone.
