Store Manager

Location: 954 Jewett Ave., Staten Island, NY 10314 Position Overview Store Managers are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets all operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. They also ensure the team is properly motivated, trained, and ready to fill open positions. Job Responsibilities Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business Establishing a strong customer service culture Implementing strategies to help meet store goals and objectives Recruiting, developing, and motivating team members who exceed customer expectations Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Analyzing financial statements and trends to increase and maximize sales Supervising transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures Coaching and developing the team per career development plans set by the District Manager Marketing within the community to increase market share and store revenues Resolving customer complaints Controlling labor hours, cash, and store audits Reviewing all Operations Bulletins, news communications, and training to ensure the team understands current policies, procedures, and changes Helping maintain a neat and clean store environment Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Minimum of two years of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant industries Ability to engage with customers Ability to develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills High‑energy, collaborative leadership experience Professional appearance and demeanor Honesty and integrity English fluency required; English/Spanish bilingual a plus Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels Must manage several projects simultaneously and handle frequent interruptions to meet customer needs English fluency required; English/Spanish bilingual a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) plan; vacation; opportunities for advancement; ongoing training.
