Bring the energy to the court and the field as a part-time Youth Sports Instructor at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA (800 Village Road, Lancaster, PA). This role exists to help kids grow skills, confidence, and sportsmanship through safe, high-spirited instruction.

Responsibilities include:
- Teach fundamentals across youth sports like: basketball, soccer, T-ball/baseball, flag football, volleyball, and floor hockey
- Lead groups of youth with clear direction, encouragement, and positive behavior guidance
- Build strong connections with participants, parents/caregivers, and your YMCA team
- Follow program plans and keep equipment organized and ready to go

Required qualifications/skills:
- Youth coaching experience and strong communication/team-building skills
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Required clearances for working with children
- Availability for evenings and Saturdays (11:00 AM–1:00 PM)

Game-Time Rhythm

You’ll arrive as the gym starts to buzz—music in the background, sneakers squeaking, and kids ready to move. You’ll connect with families at check-in, then jump into a fast-paced session that keeps everyone engaged from warm-up to wrap-up. Between activities, you’ll reset the space, swap out gear, and share quick updates with staff so the next class launches smoothly. Nights and Saturdays (11:00 AM–1:00 PM) fly by when every hour is packed with motion and momentum.

Obtain Criminal background check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprint clearance.
