Maintenance Custodian

Snelling Staffing of Canton is hiring for a Maintenance Custodian Assistant
1st shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
$18.00- $22.00 /hr. based on Experience
Paid Weekly!


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Restrooms, lunchrooms, shop floors and common areas.
• Empty trash, restock supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Assist with general building and equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic repairs, painting and preventive maintenance, as assigned.
• Help move equipment, materials and furniture.
• Maintain the grounds, snow removal and litter cleanup.
• Operate cleaning equipment and basic hand and power tools safely.


Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic maintenance and custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.


Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and perform physical work throughout the day.
