Senior Business Analyst, Advisor Compensation

Lead analysis, interpretation, and translation of complex business, compensation, and system requirements into strategic, scalable solutions Evaluate compensation data using advanced analytical methods to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights Serve as a subject matter expert in advisor compensation structures, financial systems, and broker-dealer operations Design and recommend solutions to complex, non-routine business problems Diagnose process inefficiencies and develop system improvements, automation strategies, and advanced analytics solutions Provide expert oversight for QA/UAT testing strategies aligned with compensation logic and regulatory considerations Interpret compensation frameworks, financial models, and relevant regulatory requirements, including FINRA considerations Lead collaboration with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams Evaluate risks, competing priorities, and business constraints to recommend and implement effective solutions Develop analytical frameworks, reporting models, and insights for executive decision-making Influence system design, business processes, and integration strategies through expert analysis and recommendations Manage multiple complex initiatives with minimal supervision Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field Equivalent combination of advanced specialized education and experience demonstrating comparable professional knowledge may be considered 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a similar analytical role within financial services or a related industry Advanced knowledge of compensation structures, financial data analysis, and/or broker-dealer operations Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in complex, non-routine business and financial problems Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Alteryx, or comparable platforms Experience designing solutions for system integrations, business process improvements, and automation initiatives Ability to interpret complex data sets and make strategic recommendations Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple high-impact initiatives Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma, business process modeling, and enterprise systems Ability to communicate technical data clearly to non-technical stakeholders Ability to map current-state workflows using flowcharts or data models Knowledge of broker-dealer compensation preferred Knowledge of advisor compensation models and regulatory frameworks preferred FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses preferred Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale system integrations preferred Applicants must be located at one of Osaic’s listed hubs and willing to work a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office Core Competencies Demonstrates advanced analytical capabilities in evaluating compensation data and financial systems, with expertise in developing strategic solutions for complex business challenges.
