# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 14, 2026 **Location:** Lewisville, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; no call required**Highlights:** - 37-bed Level II Trauma Emergency Department with Main ED and Pediatric Behavioral Emergency Department (PBED) coverage- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in zone setting with excellent team support- Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics, plus mid-shift support staff; similar coverage on night shift- Meditech EMR system with GE monitoring equipment- 73 FTE nursing team providing comprehensive emergency care- Long-term contract opportunity with 13-week initial assignment**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required- Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred- Ability to start quickly with minimal time-off requests- HCA system experience a plus**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Emergency Department role offers the chance to work in a high-volume Level II Trauma center alongside a dedicated team of emergency care professionals.
