Summary of Position Responsible for efficiently & effectively preparing and portioning food items while following food safety, portioning, and recipe guidelines to ensure ingredients are readily available for daily use. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other food items for cooking in the pizza oven. Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served. Know and consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products and supplies at line stations to assure smooth service. Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion size and recipe specifications. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation area, including tables, shelves, ovens, cookers, flooring, and refrigeration equipment. Be willing, ready, and able to help station cooks at all times, handle, store, and rotate all products properly, and assist in food prep assignments during off‑peak periods. Answer phones, take guest orders, and provide exemplary customer service as needed. Attend all scheduled team member meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Execute any duty or task assigned by the General Manager/Owner or immediate supervisor. Qualifications No experience necessary; one year of kitchen or food‑preparation experience preferred. Must be able to work in a hot, loud kitchen environment for long periods of time. Physically able to reach, bend, twist, and stoop. Must be able to stand for long periods (up to five hours). Must safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds up to fifteen times per shift. #J-18808-Ljbffr
