Occupational Therapist (OT) - Acute Care

Emergency Department Nurse Emergency Nursing
Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts: 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on health care needs and options.
- Manage emergency situations and perform critical interventions as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record.
Compliance / Notes:
- Compliance with background checks and drug screens is required.
- Orientation for new staff will be provided.
