NEW MODEL AT LAKE CITY HOSPITAL, FLORIDA-no weekday call!

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a full-time BE/BC Anesthesiologist for our HCA Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL. Lake City is located approximately 60 miles from Jacksonville and 40 miles from Gainesville. (Many of our physicians live in the Gainesville area). Lake City Anesthesia is a part of the growing HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services hospital employed model and will include all benefits afforded HCA employees, known to be the "best in healthcare."


Our ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication and relationships. part of a 3.5 MD/4 CRNA model, covering 3 ORs and 2 NORAs. Schedule will be a 3 physician rotation , 7a-9p. From 7a-5p, there is supervision of up to 3 CRNAs, with the remainder of the shift sitting your own cases. No call during the week, weekend call is approximately 13 per year in-house. Time away from practice is 17 weeks annually. 1-5 years experience required, must be able to work in the US without restriction.


Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:

• Model consists of 3.5 General Anesthesiologists with 4 CRNAs.
• Anesthesia covers 3 ORs plus 2 NORAs (Endo and Cysto) with an annual surgical volume of 2400.
• Mix of cases including General, Ortho, GI/Endo, GYN, and some robotics
• No Trauma. No OB. No Cardiac.
• Must be Block proficient.
