Respiratory Therapist – The Grove of Elmhurst The Grove of Elmhurst is a Gold Seal of Approval-certified Post‑Acute Care facility accredited by the Joint Commission. We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our supportive team. Responsibilities Your work will ensure residents receive high standard care by utilizing scientific and clinical principles for identification, prevention, remediation, and rehabilitation of acute or chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction; reviewing existing data, collecting additional data, and recommending data to evaluate respiratory status; developing respiratory care plan and determining appropriateness of prescribed therapy; initiating, conducting, and modifying prescribed therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; documenting necessary information in patients’ medical records; and communicating with the healthcare team. Qualifications Minimum requirements: associate’s degree from a CoARC‑accredited institution, one of the following certifications: CRTT, CRT, RRT, CCT; BLS/ACLS certification; unencumbered State of Illinois Respiratory Therapist License. Five years of experience is preferable but not required.
