Therapy Development Specialist, Pelvic Health - New England

Overview Remote position (not located at a Medtronic site) requiring travel within the district (50%+). The Pelvic Health Therapy Development Specialist will support introduction and adoption of new overactive bladder therapies, providing in-depth technical support and guidance to healthcare professionals (HCPs) to build confidence and capability in innovative therapies. A strong background in medical device technology, therapy development experience, and ability to manage complex stakeholders are essential. As part of an established portfolio, the role supports Medtronic Pelvic Health therapies (e.g., sacral neuromodulation and PTNM systems) and aims to expand access for patients while aligning with Medtronic's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Responsibilities Therapy Implementation: Own the customer implementation process and metrics to drive adoption of new Pelvic Health therapies within targeted accounts; establish a foundation for customer independence and program growth. Education and Support: Guide medical professionals to safely and effectively use new therapies; provide education and technical support to enhance understanding, usage, and long-term adoption. Challenge Resolution: Identify implementation and adoption challenges and determine appropriate resolution paths; conduct reviews with HCP teams to provide status metrics and address challenges. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and product development to ensure successful product launches. Market Development: Collaborate with District Manager, Marketing, Medical Education, and Field Market Development to identify current and future procedure market development needs; develop therapy development plans for target accounts. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs and site staff; act as liaison to address concerns about new products. Case Coverage: Provide on-site technical support during initial procedures; assist with technical guidance and troubleshooting; ensure compliance with safety protocols. Clinical Expertise: Stay current on clinical publications; participate in physician trainings; share new materials with HCPs and insights with internal teams. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements; participate in ongoing training; contribute to improvements of training and technical support processes. Qualifications Must Have: Minimum Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field Experience with product launch and market introduction of medical devices Proven track record of successful physician training and/or case coverage Strong understanding of surgical procedures and medical device technology Ability to provide constructive feedback to physicians to improve performance Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners Ability to manage change to reduce concern among others Other EEO notice: Medtronic is an equal employment opportunity employer.
