Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – School
Location: Sterling, VA
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 38 Weeks
Shift: Day | 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 30-minute meal break
Local Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Range : $20-$24/hr, as per experience

Responsibilities

Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene and toileting.
Provide one-on-one support in the classroom and during school activities.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
Monitor student safety and report any changes or concerns to school staff.
Support feeding and other personal care needs while maintaining student dignity.
Document daily observations and collaborate with teachers and the special education team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
PCA, CNA, or school-based support experience preferred.
Ability to work with students with physical or developmental disabilities.
Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate care skills.
