Senior Clinical Data Manager

Fortrea seeks a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management activities across clinical trials from initiation through database lock. This role requires directing junior staff, managing sponsor relationships, ensuring protocol compliance, and maintaining quality standards while overseeing project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all data management activities from study startup through database lock
• Direct junior data management staff and ensure quality of deliverables and timeline adherence
• Serve as subject matter expert in sponsor meetings and manage direct client requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional team meetings with EDC, statistics, programming, and pharmacokinetics leads
• Develop client relationships, track process improvements, and provide mentorship to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years combined early or late-stage data management experience
• Minimum 2 years direct sponsor management experience
• At least 2 years technical mentoring and leadership experience
• Full service and CRO experience required
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP, and biometrics systems
• Proven ability to manage scope of work, budgets, and customer negotiations
