Plant Operator Job Posting Who We Are: Nugent Sand has been producing industrial lake sand in Muskegon since 1912. The company dredges sand from their lake and then washes, dries, screens, and blends it into specialized products used by customers throughout the country. What You'll Do: We are currently looking for a full-time 2nd (2pm to 10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm to 6am) Plant Operator to join our team! As a Plant Operator, you'll help transform raw sand into high-quality finished products used in industries across the United States. You'll operate equipment, monitor production processes, perform quality inspections and help ensure the facility runs safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for an energetic team player who enjoys working with industrial or heavy equipment, is reliable, and has a passion for quality in your work.
