We embrace change and the opportunity it brings to establish and administer sound policies, rules and practices that treat employees with dignity and equality. Our focus is on delivering patient centered home care services while being committed to recruiting, developing, rewarding, and retaining our most valuable resource – our employees.ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Pediatric Clinical Program leads Respire's complex pediatric respiratory therapy team and shapes the clinical education, competency, and quality foundation behind every family's experience. This role blends clinical leadership with a deep commitment to empathy-driven care, ensuring caregivers feel genuinely supported through every transition, families are met with warmth as much as clinical expertise, and RTs are equipped, coached, and confident delivering safe, compassionate care to medically complex children. This leader owns pediatric RT team operations end-to-end and works hand-in-hand with Patient Navigation, Care Coordination/Social Work, and the Clinical Liaison/Sales team so every family experiences one coordinated team - not a series of handoffs. They partner closely on scheduling, logistics, and equipment readiness to keep clinical and operational work moving in step. Beyond the care team, this role represents Respire's pediatric program in the community supporting clinical internship partnerships with local respiratory therapy schools and participating in pediatric respiratory advocacy event, while serving as a trusted clinical resource for complex pediatric respiratory cases.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead and support the pediatric respiratory therapy team, including staffing, scheduling, caseload distribution, coaching, and performance management, building a team that leads with empathy as much as clinical skill. Develop and implement onboarding and competency programs for new pediatric RTs, including structured training plans, competency checklists, and validation processes. Create and maintain standardized caregiver education materials and multi-visit training pathways that build family confidence and ease the emotional weight of caring for a medically complex child at home. Champion transition-to-home and care coordination excellence, partnering closely with Patient Navigation and Care Coordination/Social Work so every family experiences one seamless, well-communicated team. Conduct 30/60/90-day evaluations for new pediatric RT hires and develop coaching or remediation plans when additional support is needed. Serve as the senior clinical escalation resource for complex pediatric respiratory cases, providing steady, compassionate guidance to RTs, patients, and families in high-stress moments. Partner closely with the Clinical Liaison/Sales & Marketing team on hospital engagement, referral relationships, and community visibility for the pediatric program. Represent Respire's pediatric program at community pediatric respiratory advocacy events, building relationships with local hospitals, families, and advocacy organizations. Support clinical internship and precepting programs in partnership with local respiratory therapy schools, helping build Respire's future pediatric RT pipeline. Collaborate with Patient Navigation and the Pediatric Logistics Specialist on scheduling, equipment readiness, and delivery timing so clinical and operational teams move in step for every family. Monitor onboarding effectiveness, retention trends, and competency data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform staffing decisions. Own the pediatric RT hiring profile, interview process, and specialty recruiting strategy in partnership with the People & Culture team. Own reporting on clinical quality, caregiver readiness, and team performance metrics for the pediatric program, and use that data to drive continuous improvement. Uphold consistent people-management practices coaching, feedback, and performance standards across the pediatric RT team as the program scales. Support the continued growth of pediatric respiratory therapy services as the organization expands.WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. RRT-NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist) credential strongly preferred. 5+ years of pediatric and/or neonatal respiratory therapy experience. Leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or clinical education experience within a respiratory therapy setting. Proven experience developing clinical workflows, training programs, competency assessments, or education initiatives. A genuine passion for pediatric and family-centered care, with the empathy and emotional steadiness to support caregivers through high-stress transitions. Strong ability to coach, develop, and support clinicians through onboarding and ongoing professional growth. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across clinical, operational, sales/marketing, and community-facing teams. Comfort representing the organization externally — at community events, advocacy initiatives, or academic/internship partnerships. Experience in home care, post-acute care, or a complex care environment preferred. Experience launching new programs, developing service lines, or building clinical infrastructure preferred.WHO YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE
