Job Summary

Must be able to operate shaft machinery to exacting tolerances. This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. Employee will be responsible for producing high quality parts for the next internal customer in the chain.

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate CNC and Manual Lathes
• Complete daily PM's
• Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly PM's as outlined
• Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies: Technical/Functional Skills & Knowledge

Minimum:

• Strong attention to detail
• Self Motivated

Preferred:

• Ability to work independently
• Dependability
• Ability to read prints
• Ability to read tape measure
• Ability to read micrometers, snap gauges & other measuring devices
• Basic Computer skills

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• None

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in CNC machining capacity
• High School Diploma or GED
• Machining Certification
• Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
• Good Communication skills Verbal & Written
