Mortgage Loan Processor

Job Summary

Our Client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join a growing nationwide mortgage lending organization. This role is responsible for managing loan files from application through closing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution throughout the mortgage process. The ideal candidate has strong experience with residential mortgage lending, excels in a fast paced environment, and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills. This position works closely with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, real estate professionals, and third party vendors to facilitate smooth loan transactions. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of conventional and government-backed loan programs, mortgage documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance standards. Responsibilities

• Assemble and submit complete loan packages to underwriting for review and approval

• Verify loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending guidelines

• Maintain detailed loan documentation throughout the entire loan lifecycle

• Serve as the primary liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and external partners

• Order and track appraisals, title work, inspections, surveys, tax records, and supporting documentation

• Monitor loan conditions and proactively resolve documentation deficiencies

• Provide timely status updates to borrowers and stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company lending requirements

• Review files for audit readiness and regulatory adherence

• Manage multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlines and service expectations

Qualifications / Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage loan processing experience required

• Experience processing FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, Freddie Mac, Non Conforming, and ARM loan products

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and documentation requirements

• Experience working within Encompass loan origination software

• Understanding of RESPA, TRID, HMDA, and related mortgage regulations

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume pipeline effectively
