Associate Attorney - Family Law

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Southlake, Texas, to join their Family Law practice. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for attorneys with a minimum of 2 years of Texas Family Law experience who are eager to grow in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Manage divorce, custody, support, modification, and enforcement matters. Conduct client meetings, hearings, mediations, and trial preparations. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and correspondence. Communicate consistently and professionally with clients. Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to move cases efficiently. Maintain accurate and timely records in the firm's case management systems. Meet a billable target of 27 hours per week. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Texas (active and in good standing). Minimum 2 years of Texas Family Law experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle deadlines and manage multiple cases. Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation. Courtroom experience preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
