Sandblaster - 2nd Shift

Sandblast Operator

This position is responsible for operating the sandblast equipment, material handling of large components, paint prep of machine components, and loading/unloading components from the conveyor line. Responsibilities include:

• Operating sandblast equipment
• Handling materials of large components
• Prepping for paint (wipe down, surface prep, mask) of machine components
• Loading and unloading components from conveyor line
• Maintaining area cleanliness
• Additional items as assigned by area supervisor

This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project manager and area supervisor.

• Must be dependable and trustworthy
• Ability to work sandblasting equipment safely

Education and/or experience:

• High School graduate or GED

Equipment used:

• Sandblast equipment
• Fork truck
• Proper PPE related to blast booth operation
• Computer

Working and physical conditions:

This position will be on the manufacturing floor and will be standing for extended periods of time.
