Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with cardiac stepdown experience to provide exceptional patient care in a specialized coronary care unit. This role requires flexibility to work night shifts and deliver quality services within a travel assignment framework.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac stepdown unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and assist in patient education efforts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of cardiac stepdown or coronary care experience.
• Possess Epic EMR proficiency and the ability to quickly adapt to facility-specific workflows.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to work night shifts, with availability to commit to a 13-week assignment.
• Willing to review pending license candidates and rehire previous team members if applicable.
• Comply with dress code, including navy scrubs, and adhere to facility policies.
