Dinosaur Bar-B-Que began in 1983 as a mobile concession unit serving great Bar-B-Que throughout the Northeast. In 1988, the company opened its first restaurant in Syracuse and has continued to grow to five locations serving delicious Bar-B-Que throughout New York State. We are currently looking for a Takeout Team Member to join our Hamburg team!

HOW YOU FIT INTO DINOSAUR BAR-B-QUE (Job Summary): The Takeout Team Member provides friendly, prompt service to pickup and delivery guests while ensuring orders are entered accurately, packaged correctly, and completed on time. This role works closely with the kitchen and other team members to keep takeout operations organized, efficient, and guest-focused.

WHAT YOU DO (Essential Functions): Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Follow Dinosaur Bar-B-Que's Steps of Service
• Promptly greet Takeout guests and enter accurate orders into the POS system.
• Organize orders and manage order times to ensure completion at promised time to guests.
• Package orders according to brand standards while ensuring order completion and accuracy.
• Process payments and maintain cash handling accuracy.
• Answer phones and provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Support third party online order fulfilment.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout work area.
