Relationship Banker

Location: On site at location listed in job posting. Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday 8:15 AM to 6:00 PM. The Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor who engages clients in meaningful, consultative conversations to understand their financial goals and align on solutions that meet their needs. In this role, you will drive growth by actively promoting and selling the bank’s products and services, deepening client relationships through excellent service, personalized advice, and proactive sales while supporting the banking center’s overall sales goals. Sales and Business Development Engage clients in consultative conversations to understand financial priorities and recommend personalized banking solutions, focusing on deposit accounts, loans, lines of credit, and referrals to other lines of business. Actively identify and fulfill client deposit and borrowing needs, guiding them through options, opening accounts, and taking loan applications. Provide personalized financial advice that aligns with clients’ short- and long-term goals, using a deep understanding of the bank’s products and services. Recognize opportunities to deepen relationships and make referrals to mortgage, wealth, private client, and business banking partners. Conduct regular calls to clients and prospects to offer tailored financial solutions. Coach associates on sales, referrals, products, and services to support a high-performing culture. Client Experience Support the teller line to keep customer wait time to a minimum and process financial transactions as needed. Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve client issues effectively. Attend relevant sales, service, and product knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning to enhance individual knowledge. Compliance and Risk Management Adhere to bank regulations, policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics. Operational Efficiency Assist in meetings to promote sales, product knowledge, and customer service. Help new associates with on-the-job training. Participate in dual control vault responsibilities and audit controls. Stay informed of all operational updates and changes to ensure compliance with current guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 2–5 years of experience as a Universal Banker or Teller. Computer & Office Equipment Skills Microsoft Office Suite. Salesforce.
