Opportunity:


RN - ICU


Job Details:


• Variable day and night shifts available
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Float to other units as needed, including medical/surgical unit
• Facility float to Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations - floating can and will be prescheduled
• May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 10-bed ICU and IMC unit with 34-bed MS unit
• Patient ratios: 1:2 in ICU; 1:3-1:4 for IMC; 1:5-1:6 for MS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; one travel assignment preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

This medical center features a comprehensive intensive care and intermediate care unit serving a wide range of critically ill patients. The facility operates as part of a larger health system with multiple locations, offering nurses the opportunity to float between facilities and gain diverse clinical experience. The organization maintains high standards of patient care with structured staffing ratios and supports both ICU and medical-surgical patient populations.
