Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are a growing, physician-owned medical group expanding in Batavia , IL seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our internal medicine team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

• Responsible for full medical management and primary care

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois

• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Minimum 1 year of internal medicine experience as a NP

• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations

• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

• Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting

Preferred Experience:

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience

• Background in internal medicine, geriatrics or inpatient hospitalist

Schedule & Setting:

• Monday through Friday

• No nights, no weekends

• Part-time (2-3 days per week)

• Skilled Nursing Facility Setting

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.

• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.

• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
