Orlando Health is seeking a  BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology team  for our multispecialty ASCs in the Orlando area. Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers in delivering exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while being a catalyst to expand the organization's mission and achieve its vision. The case mix ranges from Colorectal, GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Peds ENT,  Urology, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Ortho etc. \n

Essential Functions  

\n

\n

• Collaborative member of anesthesiology department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals
\n
• Partnership with surgeons and administration.
\n
• Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care 
  
\n
• Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia 
\n
• Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed 
\n

• Schedule : MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY
\n
• No Call , nights, weekends or holidays.
\n
• Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. 
\n
• Part of the Orlando Health Medical Group. Please note that this is not a private equity group.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures 
\n
• Attends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiatives 
\n
• Teach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learners 
\n

\n

Role Requirements  

\n

\n
• Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program. 
\n

\n

\n
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology 
\n

\n

\n
• Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements. 
\n

\n

\n
• Must hold or be able to obtain active Florida medical license prior to start 
\n

\n

\n
• Not a J-1 sponsored position. 
\n

\n

Experience

• Private practice and ASC experience preferred.
