Job Title: Estimator Location: Saugerties, NY Employment Type: Permanent/Direct Hire Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time About the Opportunity The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for the production of products and services offered by our company. This role works cross-functionally with sales, applications, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to translate technical requirements into detailed cost models and customer quotations. What You'll Do Experience estimating or quoting within semiconductor equipment manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or other highly engineered equipment environments. Experience with gas delivery, molecule delivery, process equipment, UHP systems, or similar complex equipment highly desirable. Demonstrated experience developing complex equipment cost estimates and customer quotations Ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and project management Strong understanding of the distinctions between cost, price, and margin Experience working within engineering or program / project management environment is highly desirable Ability to obtain and evaluate supplier / subcontractor quotations Ability to identify missing scope, inconsistencies and potential cost risks before quote submission Strong understanding of ETO, NPI and customer specific engineered products preferred Ability to develop estimates from: Engineering drawings BOMs P&IDs Customer specifications Statements of work Technical requirements What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2-3+ years of estimator experience required What Sets You Apart Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Prior semiconductor, high vacuum, and high purity work experience preferred. Strong analytical and mathematics skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Encompix/MRP/ERP system. Additional Information Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
