Requirements
Experience & Education
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- Proficiency with blood draws
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection
- Record patient information accurately in Epic EMR
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Support patient flow and clinic operations
- Provide excellent patient service and care coordination
