1 year scratch food preparation experience

Prior experience regularly preparing meals for large groups

Dependable

Flexible -- varying hours and weekends

Works well in fast-paced environment

Basic knife skills

Familiar with various cooking techniques

Food safety knowledge

Customer-focused

Enjoys seniors

Team player

Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised

Serv-safe-certified a plus

Job Tasks to serve Residents as PREP COOK:

Prep work

Cooking and plating menu items

Ensures meals meets nutritional requirements as well as appetizing in appearance

Prepares food based on standardized recipes

Assists with daily kitchen duties and restocking inventory

Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment

Cleans up at end of shift
