Facilities Electrician

Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Electrician to join their team. As a Facilities Electrician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Facilities Electrician

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: 21.00 to 30.00

Shift: 7 to 4pm Monday to Friday 

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components, electrical systems, and electrical equipment.
• Design, fabricate, and install electrical systems and components while ensuring code compliance.
• Perform lighting maintenance and repairs for buildings, parks, and parking lots.
• Install fire/burglar alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
• Respond to emergencies and evaluate situations to take necessary actions.

What's Needed?

• Equivalent to a high school diploma plus four years of experience in commercial electrical trades.
• State of New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license (EE-98J) required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations and read technical manuals.
• Skills in the safe use of hand and power tools.
