Senior Controls Engineer

A growing industrial automation manufacturer is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, and support of PLC and HMI-based control systems used in automated machinery and production equipment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on programming, troubleshooting, and improving automation systems in a stable, long-term environment. What You’ll Do Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA systems Develop and modify control logic, sequences, and operator interfaces Support machine integration, startup, and commissioning Maintain electrical and controls documentation Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams Improve reliability, performance, and system standards What We’re Looking For 7+ years of Controls / Automation Engineering experience Strong PLC and HMI programming background (Allen-Bradley / Siemens preferred) Experience supporting industrial machinery or automated equipment Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing / engineering environment An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
