Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
• Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Manage surgical equipment, sterile field, and patient safety protocols
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 1+ year of CVOR / Cardiovascular OR experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree or higher)
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current AHA ACLS Certification
• Experience with cardiac surgery cases (CAD, AS, MR)
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to take on-call shifts (up to 7 days in a 4-week schedule)
• Travel experience preferred
• Updated resume with recent relevant experience
