Descripción del puesto
Como Attendant de IHSS , ayudarás a las personas con cuidado personal, actividades de la vida diaria y tareas esenciales en el hogar para apoyar su independencia y bienestar.
Responsabilidades principales:
Brindar cuidado personal especializado incluyendo baño, aseo, vestido y asistencia de higiene.
Apoyar en actividades de la vida diaria como preparación de alimentos, alimentación y movilidad.
Mantener un ambiente seguro y limpio en el hogar del consumidor.
Observar y reportar cambios en la condición del consumidor al Enfermero Registrado y al equipo de supervisión.
Completar la documentación de servicios con precisión, incluyendo horas de entrada/salida y cuidados brindados.
Seguir precauciones de control de infecciones, protocolos de seguridad y políticas de la agencia.
Asistir a reuniones de personal y capacitaciones continuas para mantenerse actualizado con las mejores prácticas.
Calificaciones:
Tener al menos 18 años de edad.
Contar con diploma de preparatoria o GED.
Capacidad para comunicarse eficazmente con consumidores, familias y equipos de salud.
Finalización exitosa de la capacitación de la agencia y evaluaciones de competencia.
Transporte confiable (licencia de conducir válida o acceso a transporte público).
Requisitos físicos:
Capacidad para estar de pie, caminar y moverse por periodos prolongados (2-4 horas seguidas).
Levantar y cargar hasta 50 lbs para traslados y tareas del hogar.
Fuerza y coordinación manual suficientes para ayudar en actividades de cuidado personal.
Capacidad para agacharse, arrodillarse, ponerse en cuclillas y alcanzar objetos por encima de la cabeza según se necesite.
